Greece Travel Diary 2017

Since summer is over now I am dreaming of my last vacation. I miss the hot summer nights, the good mediterranean cuisine and the sea. I realized that I have not made a blog post about our trip so let me share some nice photos with you.

Rhodes is a beautiful island and we stayed at Atrium Prestige Thalasso Spa Resort & Villas

It is a one and a half hours drive from the airport but it is worth the long drive because the resort is so peaceful and quite, exactly what we were looking for. I really can not stand a noisy, chaotic and full beach. The resort owns a private beach area and I loved it. Although I have to admit that I spent most of the time at our pool.

The city of Rhodes is in the north-east tip of the island and one day is not enough to explore everything. The old town of Rhodes is fascinating! I really lost myself in admiration for the ruins. Put on your most comfortable shoes, do not forget a map and off you go. If you are following me on Instagram you know that I am a huge jewelry lover and Rhodes has to offer a lot of beautiful armcandy ❤

Luckily the Resort offered car rental services! If you are searching lonely beaches you are going to find them on the west side of the island. But please be careful because there is a reason why there are so many lonely beaches. The sea current is too strong.

We enjoyed the peaceful silence and watched the sunset. I have to admit that I had one of the most magical experience on this beach. If you want to feel connected to nature and listen to the melody of the sea you have to come here, bring a blanket 😉
